Rod Johnson is one of the premier benefit auctioneers in the nation. He has accomplished a lot in the auction industry. Rod was a finalist in the 2009 International Auctioneer Championship, is a past Minnesota and Wisconsin State Champion Auctioneer, and the 2009 Wisconsin State Champion Bid Assistant. He credits his success to the fact that he absolutely loves the auction business. He has obtained the Benefit Auction Specialist designation from the National Auctioneers Association.  Less than 1% of Auctioneers throughout North America hold the BAS designation. Rod will provide excellent consultation for your organization, which includes everything from item acquisition, streams of revenue, the timeline for the evening and much, much more.

He is not only a top notch auctioneer, but also a professional emcee and public speaker. Rod spent a number of years in the broadcast industry, and has served as the public address announcer for the Minnesota Timberwolves for over 15 years. He thoroughly enjoys traveling throughout the nation conducting many benefit auctions annually.

Joe Mellem was named Wisconsin’s Novice Auctioneer of the year in 2010, an honor bestowed upon an auctioneer who has been in the business for less than five years. Joe has a passion for the auction industry which is very evident by his energy and enthusiasm. He has conducted many benefit auctions throughout the Midwest and is also an accomplished bid assistant. Joe is a Benefit Auction Specialist and a champion auctioneer who has been with Johnson Auctioneering since 2006.  Joe, wife Lisa and daughter Abigail reside in Monticello, Wisconsin.


Cory Johnson is a graduate of the Reppert School of Auctioneering and has been with Johnson Auctioneering for a number of years. A professional auctioneer as well as a top-notch bid assistant, Cory brings energy and excitement to all the auctions he works! Besides the auction business, Cory also serves as the Assistant to Basketball Operations for the Minnesota Timberwolves. He currently resides in Cannon Falls with his wife Kelly, son Everett and they’re excited to have an addition to the family coming this summer!


Tim Banks

Auctioneer Tim Banks has been with Johnson Auctioneering since 2006 and thoroughly enjoys helping non-profit organizations raise funds with benefit auctions. A graduate of the World Wide College of Auctioneering, Tim has worked auctions throughout the Midwest.  Outside of the auction profession, Tim serves as pastor at Our Saviour’s Lutheran Church in Cannon Falls, Minnesota. He, his wife Mandi and their daughter Eleanor reside in Cannon Falls, MN.
